Heatpress switch broke in the middle of a job. Employee at the counter found the exact part and I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. Great price, great service. Recommended!

It's merged with Active Tech and is seriously a great place to have in the city for any hobbyist or really anyone who's looking for some random little electronics components, heat shrink, wire, or soldering stuff. Nice to be able to take a look in person to make sure something is the right size or whatever rather than buying online.
The staff are also super friendly and happy to help you with whatever you need.

I went there because people in other reviews mentioned that they give tips. Not so. Or maybe no longer. I drove 20 min each way to ask about rewiring a headlamp. No help whatsoever. Looks like it's nothing more than a retail store at this point.

The staff here have always been super helpful and polite. Keeping the store stocked seems to be an issue however. Often times when walking in, it seems as though half of the hangers that hold stock in the store are empty waiting for restocking. More times than not, I've come by for a common value potentiometer, or some other common component I need in a pinch, but the hanger is empty, and I'm advised it would be at least a few weeks before more stock came in or to order one. I think this store would definitely see value in a proactive inventory ordering approach, so they aren't regularly out of so many items.

Great shop! Walked in with the item I was looking to.fix to pin point the part. The gentleman at the counter knew exactly where in the aisles the parts are located and I even learned a few things along the way about certain switches and industry standard sizes! Left feeling better than when I walked in and gained some knowledge!!

Place has great amazing service. I love the selection here. One of the best computer stores in Ottawa.
My wife and a frequent this place and we do a lot of or pc shopping for our needs here. I spend way too much money into this place. LAST week I went in and spent almost 6Gs on about 12Gs worth of goods. 50% Savings from the usual pc places I used to visit. Not even stressing about the money. It was well spent for sure no doubt.
