My family and I have used this shop many times and we have always been happy with their work. We have had some complex work done, pants and dresses taken in, as well as simple hems and button tightening. They are always pleasant and timely. Would highly recommend them. Their work is impeccable.

This has been my go to shop for over 6 years and I will continue to recommend it to my acquaintances for their alteration needs. Whether it was for dress attire or casual wear, I have been very satisfied with the quality of their work. The short asian lady who went over my garments with me was patient, pleasant and very skilled in advising me of the best options to achieve the results I wanted. I find their pricing to be very fair and their guarantee of satisfaction genuine.

Over-priced and mediocre at best.
I had two pairs of pants to have taken in. This is typically a very simple job and $15 per item at my normal tailor, who was unavailable at the time. I dropped off my pants to A&B and came back a week later at noon, as directed, and they weren't ready. Came back that afternoon when they were done and while the waist was taken in, there was so much extra fabric in the butt that I may as well have had a duck tail. They fixed both again on the spot and it was only marginally better. I figured the pants would relax, but they still have a "duck tail" in the butt making them look and fit awkwardly - and for $25 a pair, I expected more expertise. It's also worth mentioning that the entire experience, I felt very dismissed by staff, as though I was the inconvenience.
I have to take them back to my regular tailor and pay to have them fixed again. Just a waste of time and money.

These folks did not deliver their work by the promised date, one alteration was deceptively incorrect, the other was asymmetrical between legs. The owner declares that if one leaves the store with a garment, you are "happy" and there is no chance of a refund, which is inconsistent with responses I have seen on here. I am also unhappy with the pricing model. I will not return.

Edit: They are also lying on multiple responses to unsatisfied customers that they can’t find our invoices. They literally say verbally they won’t do refunds or that you accept the work if you walk away with it, in person. Their social media person is incorrectly trying to save face by claiming foul play instead of owning up to their real, documented, lengthy history of mistakes and poor customer service. I suppose it’s easier to tell reviews they must be wrong than admit mistakes?

I operate a menswear shop in the City of Victoria, and for a number of years now A & B tailoring has been very helpful and done exceptional work on our stores' clothing. I do have a tailor on staff, but on occasions when we've been overwhelmed with work, A & B has stepped up and taken some of our workload in a very timely manner. Their results and workmanship has always been to our satisfaction. Highly recommended.

The absolute BEST tailors in Victoria! I came to them 24 hours at the last minute before a big event needing a dress altered as a previous tailor I had taken it to had done a horrible job. They fixed it for me within 24 hours, did an amazing job and made the dress look exactly how I wanted it to look. Amazing work & customer service, thank you again A&B!
