The best (and one of the only) electronic component and surplus shops around.
I have been going here for nearly 20 years, acquiring hard to find parts for my repair business. I've always found the right vacuum tube, tape player motor, dial lamp etc, etc..

There's not much else like it around these parts. There are standard board level electronic parts (resistors, caps, diodes, connectors, etc.) in the front few neatly organized aisles and behind the counter, while the back aisles are a shambles of electrical/industrial/audiovisual/laboratory bits, pieces, trinkets, curiosities, and oddities, test equipment from various eras and in various states of repair, as well as a decent collection of vintage books and magazines on various subjects, especially radio and hobby electronics (lots of Popular Electronics magazine). It's one of my favourite places on the planet. Don't come here; you won't like it (I don't like sharing).

A unique experience. You don't have to travel to Paris to see unique places or Egypt for pyramids if you're looking for a historical place. Correct, this place may not be historical literally but for us who are traveling extremely fast in technology, this place provides you with items and pieces you will never find probably starting in next few years. We bought items probably not worth the price but definitely worth the memories. I hope they do not close this place although we may not see it again unless another trip to Toronto.

I guess some people expect a 5 star service there but it is what it is - the last remaining electronics surplus store in GTA. It's just convenient to have it when you need a few resistors, knobs and rubber feet for your device. It's great to have this place around

I am a guitar pedal tinkering, amplifier modding, coffee roaster building, espresso machine technician that has every respect for what a mess these stores can be. Also more respect for the ones with unique components that may not have seen before. The guy at the counter has an encyclopedic knowledge of everything in the store and is one of the finest examples of under appreciated wisdom in the universe. Love this place!
