Le motel est situé en "centre ville" dans une zone en travaux, il n'est pas très facile à repérer.||Il n'y a pas d'accueil sur place, il faut récupérer la clé à la station service à côté.||Chambre sans charme mais propre.||Etape obligée dans cette région de transit, le Nice Motel est un hébergement sans désagrément même s'il ne suscite pas l'enthousiasme.

C'est charmant, mais il n'y a pas d'air climatisé alors à considérer lors de journées très chaudes/humides. Cher pour ce que c'est, mais tout de même agréable 🙂

This is the place in Watson Lake. A hidden gem behind the gas station and across the street from the sign-post forest. Our second floor room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, big bathroom, and full kitchen (no elevator/lift). The staff was friendly and there were no surprises. Watson Lake is a tiny town and this tiny hotel fits perfectly. The 3-star hotel rating is a stretch. I would say 2-star is more appropriate. The parking lot is gravel and can be muddy due to weather. The price was right.
We give it a 5 star satisfaction rating and we would happily stay here again.

Room was 85 degrees when we checked in. After running multiple fans all night we only got it to 78. Showers have no place to put anything and you must get your hair wet to shower. Forget shaving armpits there’s more room in my camper shower. Rooms were clean and bed was cozy. Staff was friendly.

The nicer motel sure is a nice one! The owner was very friendly and provided top notch service. We slept wonderfully in a peaceful and charming cabin that had lots of room and features. The bathroom was very roomy with a tub and shower making that a bonus for families with children. The heater and fan worked perfectly. Thank you nicer motel for your outstanding service!

Room itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Finding the front desk to check in was extremely confusing as there was no sign on the door or building. It looks like an old gas station that isn't even open. Staff were friendly and efficient. Otherwise a good stay in a very small town with limited options.

I struggled with poor weather and road conditions and was unable to reach my destination, so at the end of my second day travelling the Alaska Highway, stopped and stayed in Watson Lake.||I checked my phone for the best place to stay and The Nicer Hotel had the highest ratings, so it was my choice. I was a little surprised, I found the sign for the hotel, but it was a garage and a car wash. I went into the office looking for directions, however, Ray, the proprietor and a man of many hats, indicated the hotel was at the back of the garage. I asked the rate and thought it was quite high, but the ratings convinced me to pay and stay. ||While checking in, Ray and I had a very interesting conversation. We shared a former profession, law enforcement, and discovered several other connections between family members and friends. Ray is very generous and a man that practises kindness. He and his staff provided me with a warm, comfortable and remarkably clean room at a very reasonable rate. The Nicer Hotel is truly a nicer hotel.
