This is a lovely shop. My friend recommended we go there because she had first purchased sausage from them at local market. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I purchased some frozen sausages to keep for later, but had bought some pork chops for supper. The flavour was incredible and they were so tender. The owner said that they are planning to expand and I hope that people will check them out because they are worth the stop!!

Had a great experience today at the Unicorn Farm! The Country Butcher was such a pleasing discovery ! Nestled in Errington, close by the Englishman River Provincial Park, there was fresh produce, fresh cut meats (grown onsite or sourced locally), steaks, sausages of both familiar and lesser known flavoring, smoked ham, bacon, and more. Both frozen or ready to cook. We purchased a wide variety of frozen sausage flavours to take home to try. The (Irish) butcher, and his friendly colleague who rang up our purchases, were lovely to deal with. Can’t wait to get home and fire up the BBQ. Thank you for adding an unexpected pleasure to our morning’s exploration!

I stopped on today to make an inquiry…and walked out with some amazing product! 2 packages of sausages, ground beef, bacon and a steak that is MELTING in my mouth! I am impressed by the service and the amazing selection they have there! I will definitely be back for more!!

People seem knowledgeable and interested in their craft, we're very kind to me and my family. They had some interesting selections of bacon that I haven't come across yet. Ate some pepperoni on the way home nice Smokey flavour ? was delicious!

What a fantastic find recommended boy our friend Loni! The Country Butcher Co. at Unicorn Farm in Errington is an absolute gem. Nestled close to the Englishman River Provincial Park, this butcher shop exceeded all expectations.

The selection here is remarkable—fresh produce, locally sourced or onsite-grown fresh-cut meats, a variety of steaks, sausages with both familiar and unique flavors, and more, available in both frozen and ready-to-cook options. Today, we left with a haul of fresh ribeye steaks, custom stuffed and wrapped chicken breast to your liking in front of you, pepperoni, frozen sausage, incredibly fresh eggs, and some top-quality produce.

Mark, the Irish butcher, and his friendly colleague at the checkout made our visit memorable. The prices were extremely reasonable, and the service was impeccable. Mark's expertise shone through, especially when it came to the steaks. As someone from Alberta who swears by Alberta Beef, I can confidently say that the steaks here were incredibly flavorful and tender—truly a cut above the rest.

Errington is truly fortunate to have such a high-quality butcher shop. The Country Butcher Co. at Unicorn Farm has become our go-to for top-notch meats and a delightful shopping experience next time we are back. If you appreciate quality cuts and genuine expertise, look no further. They are, without a doubt, the best in town and the Island!
