Chris is the man. Its been 5 years and a little late since I should have left this review. But I was losing sleep and dealing with all kinds of debt with the crooks in power of our country (mainly the liberals), I had no choice but to file for bankruptcy. They wouldn't even verify me and I couldn't access any information from the CRA. They wouldn't take my calls or speak to me, kept hanging up the phone on me and refusing to acknowledge me in any way possible.

Chris made a couple phone calls. Was into my account and laid out everything in the most simple form possible that even a lamen like myself would understand. Set out the process in front me, had me sign a couple pappers, and the process had begun.

Finally I was able to sleep again and return to a normal life. I owe him an his staff a lot more than I'm able ever to say, so I thought I'd leave a review. Its been 5 years and I'm doing my best to stay stable and rebuild.

Don't let stupid mistakes or unfortunate circumstances stand in your way. Ask Chris or his staff for help. I don't know where I would be if he hadn't of stepped in. Who knows living in tent city near downtown ?

The government isn't your friend. Chris can be. I have nothing but great things to say about this organization.

I am very thankful that I was referred to Patrick, at Welker & Associates, from a good friend. I had spoken to another firm a couple days before and felt worse after the call than before I called.
The majority of my situation was caused by someone else who was no longer in the picture.
When I spoke to Patrick, he advised there were many options available for me. His calm and professional manner set me at ease right away. I felt I honestly had someone in my corner to help me through the overwhelming task I had in front of me.
Patrick walked me through every step of the process. He would answer any question I had and I never felt judged for the question, nor the situation. Once I signed the paperwork, it was wonderful to be able to get a good night's sleep again.
I highly recommend Welker & Associates and am forever grateful that I came in contact with Patrick.

Went here with partner to help make sure he wasn't getting screwed, he did. I specifically asked them if they would provide a credit card with a small balance of $500-$1000 to help build credit and for emergencies. They said "Yes, of course" well they lied. Now they are saying they never said that and it didnt happen. Complete liars and scammers, this is one amazing example of why banks warn you to avoid these places!!! I should have known better. Wonder if a lawyer can do anything considering they had him sign under false pretenses.

If I could give less than one star I would.

Terrible service once you actually sign. Need to change a payment date? Forget about it, they want you to put a stop payment and then contact them at a later date to move it. Worst policy I have ever heard of. Do yourself a favour and go with a better firm.

I was very satisfied with the guidance/assistance I received from Welker & Associates Inc. I felt comfortable talking with my counsellor in a friendly, non-judgemental manner. This service provided to individuals from our Canadian Government to those who need the guidance/assistance with money management is extremely valuable and necessary for individuals to learn from their mistakes and be given a second chance to turn things around financially.........thank you Patrick C.!!

I never thought I would be in a position where I would need the services that Welker offers. It’s been a rough few years with the pandemic and Lauren from Welker has made everything smooth and uncomplicated. Any time I need to speak to someone they are always kind and understanding. It’s an awful place to be in, to be in debt and need to start again. But if your going to, do it with Welker. They offer more than just services. They offer human interaction that surpasses every other business I’ve had to work with financially. You will not regret it.

Before I called Welker I felt like I was drowning and could never get ahead, my phone rang off the hook and I didn't know what to do. I had been thinking of bankruptcy for awhile so after hearing the radio commercial decided to go online and fill out the form to have someone contact me. Sue called me that night to talk about my situation. She changed my life that day telling me that " I deserved to be debt free" The road to freedom has been beautiful since. They have walked me though every step of the process and was always willing to answer any questions I had. I'm so glad I took the first steps. Amazing people with amazing attitudes.
