Used the car wash on our way to hockey as a quick stop before we headed to the arena. Get out at the arena & realize that my car was not clean at all. Went back to ask for my money back and explained what happened the employee got so defensive and agressive towards me. I explained I spent $20 on a wash & he said we don’t have a $20 wash so that’s not here. Sorry I rounded up it was $18 plus a waste of my time. The only thing he could offer was for me to come back tomorrow. (I do not live within driving distance to come back tomorrow, that is not an option) Then the employee walks away and asks other men to approach my car & scream at me for asking for my money back because it was inconveniencing them for me to wait for my money back. A simple solution would have been to return my money. No management was called, no resolution was provided other than what worked best for him. Definitely wish I would have read the other reviews before pulling into the car wash for a quick wash.

Mar 3rd update: spoke with another employee and all he could offer was for me to do another car wash with them.. I’m not driving back 2.5 hours to wash my car. He did nothing but back his co worker for the language & verbal abuse that was used towards me.

Absolutely the worst car wash experience I've ever had at Okotoks Suds Car & Truck Wash. I brought my Jeep in specifically for the touchless wash right after installing brand new wheels and tires. The wash malfunctioned, only applying soap and then stopping, leaving my vehicle covered.
When I reported this to the attendant, instead of fixing the issue, he told me to go use a wand wash bay – which I then had to pay for again just to rinse the soap off!

After rinsing, I was horrified to discover the powder coating on my brand-new rims was damaged – chewed right off in spots (see photos). Even though I used the supposed touchless bay, it appears that jets embedded within brushes made physical contact with the wheels, stripping the finish.

When I showed the damage to the same attendant, he became incredibly hostile and completely unwilling to help or discuss reimbursement. My wife witnessed the entire unacceptable exchange. Malfunctioning equipment that causes damage, extra charges, and hostile service. Save yourself the trouble and potential damage – go elsewhere. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Absolute worst car wash I've ever been too. The water is so cold. After several minutes of washing my truck with cold water I went in and asked if the have a bay that offers hot water as the soap was leaving a residue on my truck and not washing a dang thing. He assured me the 4 boilers are working- I asked if thats the case, then why there was no hot water in my bay? He argued with me and seemed irritated when I asked him to physically come to my wash bay and see/feel how cold the water was.

He then proceeded to tell me the mud was extra sticky and that I had to use the foam brush to clean it. I was already spent $20 on a still dirty truck and can piss hotter than the water at this location.

I've washed a lot of mud off a lot of equipment. This mud is no different. Save your money and go elsewhere.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS CARWASH. Back in July I washed my vehicle here and realized the next day I was significantly overcharged. When I went back to address the issue, the manager was extremely rude and hesitant to even acknowledge the issue. After finally getting him to actually look at the cameras to check the time I was there and left only then he agreed to look at my bank statement of the charge. He acknowledge the overcharge AND saw I hit the STOP button after the wash but refused to refund anything. Instead he said he could give me 9 free car washes at the location. I agreed because I couldn’t stand talking to this guy any longer. I asked for some kind of official voucher but he said he could only write down a note for them to keep track of the washes. The first time I went to use it a couple days later the employee working was hesitant and called the manager. I assume the manager told the employee to date the back for the wash and sign it because that is what he did. Since then I used the written note a couple more times and it was dated and signed. TODAY however i went in to use the car wash and the manager refused anymore car washes per our agreement. He acknowledged this was his writing but doesn’t have any recollection of the agreement saying this was for a single car wash voucher. I told him there was absolutely no way I would agree to a single carwash with the amount I was overcharged back in July. At this point it was the principle of the matter. If the manager wasn’t so blatantly rude and completely unwilling to even acknowledge the situation I wouldn’t have cared to write this review. I can’t believe a company would let this guy be the face of their business. Save yourself the hassle and just go to another car wash. I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with this guy.

Was charged $50 when I hit the stop button at $28 for 19 minutes… called in and was told it would be 3 business days for my deposit to be refunded… judging by other reviews I’m not gonna hold my breath… stay away

Maps said open til 9. Arrived at 8:28. Auto door wouldn’t open. Walked around and saw employee locking up. Asked for 8 min to wash. “Nope” he said and he left.

I left a voicemail at 8:40 (open signs still on). Next morning went back to wash. Told different employee what happened. He shared how Nigerian? owner tells them to close if not busy busy. (One customer is not busy enough). As I finished my wash owner showed up. Told him and he threw employee from night before under the bus. I Will drive out of my way to avoid this place next time.

DO NOT go to Suds Car Wash across from Elizabeth. I tried them for the first time last week and it would only take a credit card. I noticed after that they had charged me $50 on my credit card, when I phoned them, they told me it was just its pre authorization and it would be removed. I waited a few days and I looked and it was removed....however, they doubled the price that I spent on my car wash, and now I keep calling back and they just keep telling me to call back again to talk to somebody else!!!!!!
It's only a few dollars, but that's not the point. How many people don't check their transactions and have them just ripping you off?! Makes me so mad!!
I actually posted it on our local site, and it seems that there are A LOTof people this has happened to!! NOT OK!!!!!
They will be reported to BBB!
