I would definitely come back to Denman when I have more time to explore. You're gonna wanna reserve Fillongley Campground ahead of time. It's a stunning Campground next to the best beach on the island with great hiking trails. Go to Morning Beach during low tide and hike to Tree Island. Watch video for fun facts.

A nice place to walk into the woods and also through the beach, you can see a lot of small crabs running 🦀, is better to go before 5-6 pm to the beach because the tide goes up, but for the forest any hour is just perfect.

The park is one of the most peaceful BC Park campgrounds I have stayed at on Vancouver Island. However the sites are smaller than normal with less shrubs between the sites making it feel a little more cozy with your neighbors. If you want the full privacy that you can get with some campgrounds, this is not the place for you.

The beauty of the park makes it worth it for me. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the beach, which is less than a 5 minute walk from the site, is the most magical experience.

Very beautiful, peaceful, and cozy getaway. The only problem is the tap water, which is not pure. Bring your drinking water if camping.

I've been coming to this campsite for years and I've always enjoyed myself but in the last few years it's become very run down. The spots are very small as is but now none of the bushes are trimmed back making the spot even more crowded. There's not much space in the site to set anything else up so we were stuck with our broken picnic table.

June 15/2018. A small little camp ground with a caretaker with some fantastic views of the inside channel.The place looked clean and very tidy.Saw a sign,NO FIRES.It’s the season for fires so please be careful.A trail runs along the sandy shore.Have fun and be safe.
