Such Amazing dinner, the chef is so good, nice, and convivial, friendly and the quality of local food is surprising and such an art. Congratulations to the chef and employees . WE had an Amazing Time.

Très belle soirée dans ce restaurant, la qualité des produits était surprenante et très bien maîtrisé dans tous les plats. Tester la purée de patates aux truffes ou frites aux truffes sont une valeur sûre et la viande (on en rêvé depuis quelques semaines) mais la qualité est au rendez vous.
Vous ne serez pas déçu. Très bon moment merci à tous chef et employés ☺️

We drove an hour out of the way to go to this place and from the outside it was understated, but it didn't disappoint. The bone marrow bison tartar was amazing, and the speckled park beef tenderloin with bearnaise rivaled steaks I've had in Argentina. Chef Rusty knows how to treat beef. Great art from local artists. It's a vibe. The Peruvian chicken, brisket, and cheese dip were also favourites at our table.

Harvest Eatery is easily one of the most unforgettable dining experiences I’ve had in Saskatchewan - and I’ve enjoyed more than a few dinners here over the years. We recently brought friends from Italy, and they said it was the best meal of their entire three-week journey across Western Canada. That says a lot.

As someone who grew up in the area, I deeply appreciate how Chef Rusty and Kristy have built something truly special in Shaunavon. The flavors are bold, inventive, and grounded in local ingredients that beautifully reflect the spirit of the prairies.

The atmosphere is warm and intimate, and the open “theatre kitchen” adds a personal touch that makes you feel part of the culinary story. Every dish feels like a love letter to the land and its people, and the service is just as heartfelt - everyone who works here is an absolute gem.

Whether you’re a devoted foodie or just passing through, Harvest Eatery is worth every detour. It’s not just a meal - it’s a celebration of Saskatchewan’s soul.

Wow, just wow! Get ready for the meat sweats. The BBQ here is absolutely amazing and well worth a drive from Swift Current. The decor is chic and modern. The food is prepared at a galley kitchen in front of patrons which is a neat touch. Any of their BBQ offerings are well worth the visit. I had a steak which was a tad underdone but I would prefer that to over cooked. The Dill Pickle potato salad was deadly good. If you’re looking for a nice outing with your significant other, look no further.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant annually and typically dine here on both Friday and Saturday nights during our visits—it’s been one of our favorites for the past few years. However, this year felt quite different from our previous experiences.

One of the changes we noticed right away was the staff. In past years, we’ve enjoyed seeing familiar faces, especially our usual waitress, but this time all of the front-of-house staff appeared to be new, with the exception of the chef. While everyone was friendly, there seemed to be some growing pains—long waits for simple drink orders, staff appearing flustered, and some uncertainty around the menu, which had also changed from previous years.

The food, as always, was delicious—consistent in quality and flavor, which we really appreciated. However, we did notice a significant change in portion sizes. Compared to past years, the dishes were noticeably smaller, yet the pricing remained the same or possibly even increased. For the first time, after ordering two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert between the two of us, we actually left still feeling hungry—something that’s never happened here before.

We’re still fans of the restaurant and appreciate the incredible work happening in the kitchen. We hope these front-of-house changes are just part of a transitional phase, and we look forward to seeing how things evolve next year.

Great restaurant in Shaunavon SK. The meals were prepared fairly quickly, there is a good selection of drinks and great hospitality.
My corn chowder was made from scratch as far as I could tell and my burger tasted great.

Owners definitely care, but execution is just not there. Burger was expensive, dry, and hard to eat in the sense it ends up as a mess on the plate. They say they have air conditioning, but don't turn it on I guess. Less is more. You don't need several sauces etc on the burger. Whole menu a bit pretentious. Shouldn't take 5-10min to get drink once sitted. Beer selection was good though - good variety.

Fantastic!!! An extensive menu and wine list. We felt like we were in Europe. Attention and service were superb. The Peruvian chicken and fries were to die for!
