My husband and I were out shopping recently to find a pr of work boots. This shop came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I can see why. The owner was available to show us the different types of safety work boots! The time we spent with him was invaluable!! We will definitely shop here exclusively for work wear!! Update: went in to purchase a pair of Carhartt shorts; great price and new owner John was awesome. So glad the new owners kept the business going! Good luck to them in their new business..Will be back for sure..

Love this place for sure! Picked up a pair of boots in the fall based on Rob's recommendation for slightly wider feet and love them! Recently attended again and bought a pair of winter boots also for work..great service again! thanks so much

Bought pair of $400 boots off him i was starting a job in a couple weeks went to put them on an didn't fit so I took them back with no receipt all I asked was for a store credit he wouldn't do it because I had stepped on the corner of the box so there was a lill tear on the box he wouldn't take then back because the box wasn't in perfect shape told me to go sell them online for half the price...... ill never stop in there again an ill be buying my workers cloths an boot somewhere else.... great business skills I tell ya

Purchased a pair of non-slip/steel toed shoes here this morning (22 – November – 2023) for work and had the most phenomenal experience!!! My sales associate was knowledgeable and considerate to both my employers and my personal requirements. He did everything he could to accommodate everything required and it showed!! Very kind and generous. I am definitely leaving as a happy and satisfied customer who is excited to show off her new shoes!!

Coming in to buy work wear for my son for the first time, over 20 years after buying some of my first work wear from you was an awesome experience. Amazing store, very knowledgeable and extremely competitive pricing. I love going here, we buy all our company coats here as well and then take them for embroidery. If he doesn’t have the style, he can usually order it which is amazing.

I’ve never actually written a review for any business in all my years of experiences good or bad, but I felt this was one that everyone should be aware of. My apologies in advance for the length of this review.

My wife and I have always believed in buying locally whenever possible, however the last two experiences in dealing with the owner Rob has convinced us that he no longer deserves our business and should not deserve yours either.

The most recent experience was for a pair of jeans which my wife purchased for me for Christmas. The jeans ended up being too small so I went in to exchange them for another pair. Upon arrival, he immediately looked at the jeans I was holding along with the tags and rudely stated “I see there is going to be an issue with this”. I hadn’t even explained to him the reason for my visit yet. He then continued saying that because the tags were removed, he was not able to do anything with them and that it is his “policy” to treat everyone the same and to make no exceptions. I then asked him if he had stated the tag policy to my wife upon purchase of the jeans. He could not confirm that he had stated that, he could only surmise that this is something she should have known. I have honestly never heard of this and have taken clothing back to other stores many times before and have never had an issue. I then called my wife and explained to her the situation. My wife called him in an attempt to come to an understanding why an exchange could not be made and he very rudely repeated his “policy” to her. My wife then attempted to explain to him that his actions were not acceptable and that this is not how a business should be operating. He continued talking over her and then eventually hung up on her.

The experience I had just before this one was when I inquired about exchanging some steel toed safety boots for a better pair. The boots are brand new and have never been worn. I explained to him that I could not find the receipt, however I have the card that would have been used to purchase the boots.
He then rudely said he would not likely find the purchase in the system and basically said there was nothing he could do.

If this was a big box store, I would have had no issues with the above experiences and that is what makes this even worse. I feel that this is just a way for him to make a buck. Shame on Worksite, I will never purchase anything from there again.
