I love thrifting but I had to stop donating to and visiting Value Village because of their ridiculous pricing. Goodwill became my go-to for years but sad to say that GW is now in the same bucket as VV. Prices have recently increased here as well. Everyone is just so greedy these days and resellers have messed up a good thing. Used t shirts that used to be $4 are now $8. Smh. I’ve started donating to my local church and shopping at liquidation stores for deals. Ive gotten brand new shirts and jackets for as low as $3 at liquidation stores. The good ole days of thrifting are gone it seems. What a shame

Haven't been in a Goodwill for ages, and this store didn't disappoint! Lot's of goodies, clothes and stuff for the kiddos.

Really, really clean second hand store. I could'nt believe how organized it was since I was last there 2 years ago. The gentleman working there spent alot of time cleaning and organizing while I shopped, obviously someone passionate about their place of work. And scored a lot of super cute dresses, some with tags still on!!

Prices are getting ridiculous! You're supposed to be here to help the community in need, instead you're getting more and more greedy like value village! Very sad! The thrift store on highway 20 is amazing, how it should be! They got my support and my donations from now on!!

Unfortunately, they have gone the same route as Value Village and seriously overprice the majority of their items. The only good thing about the store is that the staff is usually very nice.

I have to agree with most of the people, I never really had an issue with the staff. But I do find the donated items a bit over priced. As you get them for free and at no cost to you am I right?.

I've been to this one a few times and I haven't had the greatest experience in the world but it wasn't to bad.

I mean they can at least clean up a bit, pay their staff a little more yo do a better Job maybe?

Reduce your price to help the needy more?

This location is outstanding...many many finds over my years of going there.....Staff is AWESOME....they are friendly, helpful, accepting, non-judgmental, and go the extra distance to assist you in what you are looking for. Clothing that I have bought there always seems like new. They have such a wide selection and variety, I dare say most of my clothes are from there...Prices are very reasonable and the money they make goes back into the community...This is one of my must go to stores and I always feel safe and welcomed there....New selections on things daily, and whether its electronics, furniture, window dressings, clothing or even nail polish its usually my first stop before going to other stores...So thank you too the wonderful staff at the Niagara Street in Welland store, and also thank you to all the people that donate....Keeps are landfills a little less filled. Goodwill you have made my life easier and also saved me a ton of money...
