Service was absolutely phenomenal host and staff were attentive to every desire. Bedding and room were clean. The location is excellent as it's right in the center of all amenities. You can have a BBQ or chill outside in the common area. You have not truly lived life to the fullest until you stay at the Carra Valla!

First and foremost, service was absolutely phenomenal, Andrew was a very welcoming, helpful, and honest host. The rooms are really not bad, they are actually quite clean. The sheets, bed linen, pillows, are all very comfortable and soft, no issue of bed bugs whatsoever, and best of all, towels are always freshly stocked after 2 days and in big supply. Big fridges included in the rooms with microwaves and kettles, space for luggage, rooms are also quite spacious.

The rooms are clean, and beds are reasonably comfortable for the price. Bathrooms are pretty rough, and the rooms are really dated. The office is cluttered and disgusting. Trash is lying around outside. If you're looking for a cheap hotel that's tolerable, it will do in a pinch. I would not take my family here.

Agreat cheap place to
stay. Exactly what I would expect for an $87/night room. Yes it is dated but it was warm (in winter), clean, cozy, and the guy who runs the
place is amazing! He is so friendly
and kind and eager to help
and ensure you have a good
stay.

The beds were clean and fresh and super comfy (way more than most beds at way more costly hotels)! Walking in the room we
were greeted by the most
wonderful fresh smell! The bathroom was extremely clean. The tub was spotless and the drain worked perfectly (which is more than I can say for MANY of the much more expensive rooms I have stayed at all over North America!). The bathroom fan could use a good cleaning which would make it much more useful and work a lot better. There's a good sized fridge (about 3 feet tall), microwave, coffee pot, table, and chairs.

There was no one in the office when we arrived to check in, but there was a sign on the entrance door with his cell number and after a quick call he arrived in no time to check us in; same thing when we were ready to check out.

The motel is in a great location with lots of shopping within walking distance. Liquor store, grocery store, Smitty's restaurant, A&W, Dollarama, and many others.

I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to stay here again! You do get what you pay for, but if you're looking for a cheap, comfy, cozy place to stay... look no further!

The owner is very kind, helpful, and attentive. The motel is older and rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and comfy.
There are plenty of towels and stuff in the bathroom, so you could go without Housekeeping for a few days if ya wanted.
It is 30~40 percent cheaper than the newer hotel here, and that's substantial savings.
There are bbqs available also.
I have stayed here many times, and will stay again.
There are plenty of stores within walking distance, including grocery, liquor, restaurant, dollar store and fast food. These are a 2 minute walk.
I believe the owner does the best he can.
It's a better option than the other older place.
There's a new ice machine.

Came for a family memorial in St. Brieux and needed someplace to stay. This was the only available place so we booked it. We drove into their dirt-gravel parking lot. We observed a very old looking vintage 60's style hotel. Not real good curb appeal but you can't always judge by the cover. Check in was quick and friendly. The outer room door to our room was dirty and needs fresh paint. The walkway in front of the rooms need care. The room was small, the furnishings old and outdated. The cushioned chair was torn with the padding exposed. The bathroom was clean but the fixtures need updating. The bed was clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well as did WiFi and cable TV. Considering our nightly rates were $50.00usd you get what you pay for. I would only return if other accomodations were not available. If you need a place to stay and you don't mind old places this would be okay.|

OMG!!! This is the filthiest establishment I have EVER encountered. The office was a adisastrous mess with paper and receipts scattered everywhere. It was difficult to find the dude that worked there. He finally came across the parking lot and showed us a room, that was filthy, then took us to a "nicer" room. It looked like the floor hadn't been cleaned and you could see M&Ms under the bed along with a thick covering of dust etc. He was nice when we declined the room and asked for a refund. As we were walking, looking for the staff member, we observed the laundry room which was absolutely filthy as well. I do not reccomend this establishment at all. Unfortunately, the reviews I read previously to booking were wrong.
