Mike did an amazing job on our new stair rail. He was professional and his expertise in recommending the right style was exceptional. We will be adding a square wood hand rail for the finished product.

We also had a frame built for our heirloom chopping block. It was great the way Mike helped to incorporate this piece to match the rest of our decor.

I asked Mike to fabricate a steel "I-beam" style mantle for our fireplace remodel. As soon as I showed him my simple sketch he knew exactly how to proceed. His attention to detail and his workmanship is excellent. He is easy to talk to and delivers on his promises. He delivers on time.and is very cost competitive. Our fireplace looks great as a result of his workmanship. I will be using him again for sure !

We liked what we saw on the Black Powder website and gave Mike a call to quote on replacing the rails and pickets in our kitchen with railings down to the lower level, which were dated. Liked the clean modern look of his work. This was part of our kitchen update. Mike is an affable guy and was a pleasure to deal with. His pricing is very reasonable for the quality! Installed just yesterday, we are so thoroughly pleased with the look and transformation. We knew what we wanted and he brought it! We highly recommend Mike! Couldn’t be happier!
