This is a very nice store. The freshly made hot food is very good. The layout is nice and the staff were great. Parking is easy and plentiful. The only criticism is they had only one checkout line open that was not self checkout. There was a lengthy line for that one non-self checkout.
Otherwise a good place to shop for groceries

It was a pleasant shopping experience. It's been over 20 years since I was last here. Prices were average and the items I wanted were in stock. Well maintained and clean store. I will definitely return again

They make fresh food there, so it always smells gd. Big and clean. Always a great meat selection. Sometimes pricey. Sometimes worth it. Wife likes the clothes section for kids.

Today May 8th, I love shopping at independent. But wow today was really weird, iv never in my life left my groceries behind but today I literally left everything at the self checkout. 2 cashier’s available and one was incompetent with dealing with 2 customers, waited for 15 minutes only to be told she can’t figure out a sale then left her station. Moved to self checkout, checked out several things then had to wait for the attendant that was obviously overwhelmed with customers. Finally came to us because a salad wouldn’t scan, said it needed a new tag from the meat department (it’s a salad not meat) then left me standing there to help other costumers…. What the heck! I was left standing there for another 10 minutes with no one helping me, all the While a massive line was behind me. Nothing else I could do but just to leave my groceries after another 10 minutes, I was literally in line for over 30 minutes just to check out a couple of groceries. Pretty bummed with the overall experience. Don’t think I’ll be back for a while.

Always a pleasure to see Ellen at the self check out, she makes us feel like family instead of a customer. This store serves fresh, high quality groceries and products it’s difficult to choose another competitor. We love the variety but truly the staff makes the difference!

The bakery staff is Amazing!! I needed a specific character on my step-sons cake last minute and wasn't expecting them to be able to do it and they pulled through! He loved his cake!!! Thank you so much

Jacqueline has refused to help me on several occasions, and I have good reason to suspect it is due to me not being white. I say this because after refusing to help me on a few occasions when white people went up to her she helped them. I don't think I will come back to your store.

The bakery did an amazing job on the cakes I ordered for my boys for their birthdays. They looked great and they tasted great. Will definitely be back for the next birthday!
