Jordan over in shoes was great! At first he let me do my thing, he wasn’t pushy with sales. I tried on a few sneakers. I said how much I wanted to spend, he made a few suggestions, explained the differences between brands, quality, design etc. I found two pair I really enjoyed. Than he explained why I should prefer one over the other (the one I really liked anyhow). Extremely pleasant experience. I will definitely return and recommend others to give it a try

Especially the New Glasgow, NS store, Sport Chek does it right! Customer service at the store is the best I have experienced, consistently and no matter who is working. They make everything right and admit to their mistakes if they make them and are simply my go to store for any sports wear or gear!

If I could I would put 0 stars,
Too expensive, and there was a tag on pants 50%off, when we got to the cash register to pay the guy ripped the tag and threw it away, I was busy on the phone and my 12 year old daughter had the card to pay , I noticed the price on the screen 60$ full price, so I told him there was a tag 50%off, he was just standing silent, when I insisted, he changed it to 30$ .
So if a child wants to pay it's ok to charge double?

First off normally when I visit this store I get amazing service but yesterday I go in needing a couple things for my bike. I was looking for a worker to help me out with a few questions I had....nobody at all came by to ask if I needed help so after 30 minutes of nobody coming to help I call my boyfriend and he tells me it will work so I’m walking around the store following the arrows to the till, EVERY SINGLE WORKER was standing in a group at the front tills on their phones. The cashier is FaceTiming as she is putting my order through, everyone else is standing in a group in their phones. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE last night. (JUNE 13, 2020)

Friendly staff but due to the nature of slower sales, staff numbers are limited. That being said, they are always helpful and even willing to help in departments they do not have cross-trainjng in. Great selection of fitness, outdoor and casual apparel along with sporting equipment. The store usually does not ship in items from other stores unless you, the customer, are persistent.

I had a recent transaction at the new Glasgow Highland Square mall sports check store and I would rate it a 10 out of 10. A young lad named Daniel, in the sporting good section, went beyond and beyond his call of duty to answer any questions and to go retrieve summer stock for me.
It was so nice to deal with such a pleasant and helpful young employee .
