Absolute worst. No call backs, no tech support. $10,000 for a tech to come to site and it takes 40+ days. Can’t imagine what they spend their money on. Sure as heck isn’t their personnel.

*** 3 Year on Edit to this review***
Avoid these guys like the plague. Their software is made by literal dinosaurs and they keep jacking up the cost to all of their consumables to run the thing.

You'd think a multi-million dollar company could figure out automatic licensing for their software, but every year I have to copy and paste them a request code just to keep our machine running like it's 1998. I've had better service from indie software developers on a $60 piece of software.

And now my conversion software is borked again for some unknown reason. I'm probably just going to write my own NC1 exporter for Fusion 360 at this point.

We just got a brand new Lincoln Python X 3 Weeks ago.

It should be called the "Lincoln Princess" by "Burlington Almost Automation" on how finicky it is and how much shit you have to still do manually.

We've probably had 75% down time with it.

It's terrible at cutting HSS. If there's a mitre on each side of the material you have to manually roll it back and then manually push the material to the backstop on the rollers for each piece. Only if there's a square cut on one end can you process HSS without resetting the material and measurements each time.

The cross feed conveyors are 100% manual and don't tie into the main control computer. This thing can't load itself at all.

The software surrounding it is hot garbage as well. The control software is locked to 1024x768 resolution like it's 1998 all over again. All of the settings and error codes and everything is nested in one giant hierarchy of variables. There's literally 500 error codes you can trip and it has still managed to error out and throw no codes...
Converting your files over to NC1 files isn't too painful, only if you're doing base plates that are shorter than your flat bar is wide it automatically rotates it so the shortest side is the "width" of the flatbar you're cutting, even though 5 1/4" wide flatbar doesn't actually exist. There's no way of rotating that when you're converting from .step files. Etching part numbers has to be added either manually via text editor to the part files or through their builder program which is on par with a bunch of free cad programs I've tried.

You literally can't cut a round base plate out of flat bar, the solution is a workaround hack. Actually there's a whole whack of stuff that the new machines can't do that are shown on the you tube videos.

You can only process 1 file/part at a time on a piece of material, there's no nesting capabilities at all.

I had more control on how things cut on a clapped out auction bought plasma table that ran on windows XP than the Python.

The service is abysmal. I tried calling 8 times in one day only to get an email response 3 days later.

Don't be fooled by their claims to have engineering backing up their hole quality, it's still a plasma and will still cut bevelled holes once the nozzle starts wearing out. We were running angle iron through it and after about 200 pierce operations the quality starts to go. Also their consumables are proprietary on their torch so they're the only place you can get them from.

You'd probably get a better product and service from a Chinese machine off of Alibaba.

The absolute worst costumer service and the tech support is a joke. Absolutely terrible to deal with and they bill out the wazoo for there tech support. Sometimes it takes hours for them to respond absolute joke.
