I took my phone in to have the screen replaced... when i went to pick up my phone it was not the same look. My phone was all black and i was presented a white and blue phone with a poor quality screen when i was told it came from the original provider. No communication from the guy who did the work to say what happened nor told me what can happen when changing a screen. I should have known not to go there and i would not recommend them. It was
unprofessional and i walked out leaving my phone and still no follow up as to what happened. I feel I should not have to pay.

I previously had multiple good experience with GewTV (in particular the regular employees were very friendly/helpful) - and as a result of that referred multiple people to this location.

Unfortunately, I had a iPhone screen repaired there that broke within 24 hours without being dropped or manhandled. The owner insisted I did in fact drop it, and that all that could be done is a paying ~70% of the overall cost to have it repaired a second time.

It should be noted that they only take e-transfer for purchases, meaning you do not get any receipt or proof of purchase - and lose the ability to dispute the charge if you felt you received faulty service. The replacement phone screen installed not only looked poor from a colour accuracy perspective, but responded poorly to touch/swiping, and cracked with regular use.

I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as I feel this practice is not only shady, but as a consumer you lose all power to follow up on bad service and replacement part quality. I highly regret referring people to this location, and would not advise having repairs done due to their lack of customer service/appreciation when things go awry.

It’s always a little unnerving handing your cell phone over to a complete stranger but I was so impressed with the customer service here! Friendly, polite, and went above and beyond - very fast work whilst also being great quality (so much so that there is even a 30 day warranty on their work so you know they truly stand behind it).

Will for sure be going nowhere else for any of my tech needs in the future!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Gew TV. If it were possible to provide a rating of zero, I would gladly do so. On August 2nd, I brought in my MacBook due to a firmware password issue, and I was initially told it would be fixed within three days. However, my frustration grew as they repeatedly postponed the resolution, offering excuses for an entire month. This was particularly frustrating because I urgently needed my laptop.

After a month of waiting, I was finally directed to another branch, where my laptop was located. Fortunately, it is now functioning, but I've encountered unexpected battery issues that were not present before. This deterioration in the battery's performance is disappointing, especially since it was working perfectly prior to my visit to Gew TV.

I cannot recommend Gew TV to anyone based on my unsatisfactory experience with their service.

They are great guys, very knowledgeable and patient - with a hint of humour.
I handed them two phones and they reconfigured them to my needs within an hour (no waiting for days like the Apple Store) at a very reasonable price. It is now my first stop when dealing with phone issues - glad I found them.

I got my Samsung Note 3 screen replaced here; these guys were super helpful, friendly, and prompt. They communicated very clearly about the options and costs. They did a great job on the replacement, threw in a complimentary screen protector too! On top of that, they were friendly and enjoyable to deal with. These guys are winning with excellent service.

Great location, great staff, and very fair pricing. Ive used this company for 3 different cell phone events and each time the staff treated us with fantastic respect, listened to our needs, and only suggested "what needed to be done". I would return here for any cell phone work anytime. Downtown Guelph location is very convenient and easy to find. Keep up the great work GewTV.
