AVOID THIS COMPANY. Would give 0 stars if I could. From day 1, this company has skirted around providing any type of support or service for our product. We were told we were entitled to one on-site visit per year for our mill, and when we tried to get a tech to come and provide the service, the already abysmal communication from them deteriorated even further. Emails and questions would go unanswered, and when we finally did receive a response, it was some excuse as to why they would not be delivering the service.

The initial product training we received from this company should have been a strong indicator of the quality of the service that we were in for. Was very disorganized, the technician was unprepared, and had never worked with our mill before. He told us things that were incorrect, and when we followed his directions which inevitably led to issues down the road, we were told it was our fault, and no compensation was provided whatsoever.

We have had an issue with the door of our mill for months now, and have been trying to get them to come replace it or fix it, and again have either been ignored or given some excuse as to why they would not. When they finally did agree to send someone to look at the door, they gave us a quote of nearly $10,000 to do so. We spoke with the manager on the phone who told us that they would have someone at the nearby Pacific Dental Conference in April, and that that would make the cost of the service cheaper and that they would send us an updated quote. Nearly a month went by and we heard nothing from them. I reached out once more to follow up on the quote, and they eventually got back to me and said that they would no longer have someone at the Pacific Dental Conference. They mentioned they had another client in our area who they were providing service to the week of February 17th (the week that I am leaving this review) and that we could share travel costs with that client, and that again they would send us an updated quote to reflect this. As I am writing this, it is February 18th, and I have still not received any updated quote or had any further communication from them.

This company practices and conducts bad business, and operate like scam artists. I would strongly implore anyone considering doing business with them to consider literally any other company to work and do business with. Please feel free to call our clinic, Landmark Dental Centre in Sidney, British Columbia, and we would be happy to discuss the issues we have had with this absolute joke of a company with you.

I'm leaving my previous review below (which was initially 5 star), but I must now change this to a 1 star. This company is absolute garbage. Our mill has been down for half a year, they never have any answers or support. It took 3 months for them to finally agree to take our machine back and have it repaired in their clinic. Any technical issues take forever to resolve, and usually involve them having to call Imes in Germany, who has to log in remotely (so your machine and computers must be on). They give you no feedback so that you can troubleshoot yourself. It's all kept secret. Two years ago when we had this issue, Proto at least made our crowns at their facility for free to compensate. Now they charge us. If you'd like to know more, please call my clinic and I can go over in detail over coffee. I can show you everything that is wrong.

These guys are the best in the business. I have a large and progressive dental clinic and have been burnt by reps in the past. These guys are engineers, not salesmen. The real deal when it comes to milling and printing. Unlike patterson /Schein /Sirona reps

I bought mill machine just over a year ago & so far so good. Proto300 customer support is excellent. Every time I have an issue they would respond right away to fix the problem to get you back into production. If they can’t fix it right away, they told me to send the work to them so they can mill it for me to help me minimize down time. Owner & Staff are very helpful. Mike & Sajj would come by whenever they are in the area to check if everything is working properly. Thanks to Caroline & Dan for following up & the support whenever I needed them.

We had an issue with a dental milling machine and we were out of commission for 2 days. We panicked because we needed couple cases to be milled and delivered asap. We are in California and proto3000 are in Toronto. In 2 days, Sajjaad Darr, an engineer from proto 3000, came and promptly fixed the issue, but also spent couple of more hours educating my team about proper maintenance, calibration, and problem shooting. We learned so much, and Mr Darr was such a gentleman. Top notch service!! Thank you!

⭐️Very Disappointing Experience⭐️

I had an extremely frustrating experience with this company.

1. Communication was a major issue. I requested a crystal clear 3D print (their folio has that), they replied and asked me for more photos but received no response for over 20 days after.

2. Phone service was even worse. Calls connected without saying a word or response to my "Hello" then hold me on phone for 10minutes without answer. So I hung up and called again, then ended up picked up the phone but hung me up immediately.

3. I was redirected to them by another shop again after 2 weeks, but when they finally replied, they offered me a completely different material, a Nylon print in SOLID GREY instead of CRYSTAL CLEAR.

Seriously, if you can't provide the service just say so at the first place instead of asking me for more photos and files then give me an unsatisfied answer after 3 weeks, also the hung up on phone without any answer, that was seriously rude.

Overall, their service and communication are unacceptable. Avoid them if possible.

Have had the pleasure of working with Proto3000 on a couple occasions. Their prices are always competitive and the parts are delivered to spec and on time. Would highly recommend for all your tooling and rapid prototyping needs!
