I had the technician coming today to fix my Kitchen Aid build in oven. This was his second visit. The first visit was last week when he told me they need to replace a part in a back. I was without my oven and microwave for over two weeks, to find out that he did not need the part and the oven could be fixed last week. The issue was that he never pulled out the oven to properly diagnose the problem. In addition today before they start working on the oven I asked them to show me what has need broken before they fix/replace the parts. They never show me what was the issue and just do something and they told me all is done and that is time to pay the invoice. I told him I want to see what I’m paying for and he told me that he can’t show me as the oven is back and he will not be pulling back out. I told him I don’t want to pay the bill. At the end I did pay without seeing what was wrong. I’m very disappointed that I had to wait for over two weeks to have the oven fixed and I was not even shown what was broken I will never hire them again. The oven could be fixed when they show up to the house last week but they chooses not to investigate the issue. I will tell everyone that I know not to hire this company. They are very unprofessional.

Thank you for you reply but as I said in my review I did not asked the technician to show me the finish task. I was asking them to show me what is broken before the issue is fixed and show me what they fix. They did not respect my request and completely ignored my request. As a customer I have a right to see what was being fixed in my oven. In addition I did paid the invoice without seeing what was fixed. I wish I could give you zero stars as you as an owner don’t respect your customer asks. I did not asked for anything extra. I don’t believe my asked was not reasonable.

I had a technician come out through Whirlpool. I have never had such a negative experience with a service call mainly due to this guy’s attitude. Whether it was a bad day or not I don’t know but I found him abrupt, dismissive and even challenging of me. It was not a good experience.

Dennis has visited our home for two appliance issues in the last few weeks. He was friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. All of the issues have been resolved quickly and I couldn't be happier. I won't be calling anyone else other than RF Appliance. There is office staff to take your calls. Quick quotes. Quick appointments. I'm glad I found this company.

We had a such horrible experience with RF Appliances on Scurfield. It will be three, almost four weeks to get our washer fixed. They came out right away to diagnose the issue (and charged us for the initial diagnostic appointment right away) and now can’t get back until the 15th. We called them the week prior to get the initial appointment. .

The issue is with the level of service with office staff. Saying you couldn’t access voicemails for three days after a long weekend, as your excuse? And that is ok? Is there not any other person(s) who can answer voicemail and emails/ messages, other than the receptionist, if she is away? I had even sent two emails to the office to try and book a second appointment. If you are on holidays or the office is closed for whatever reason just say that. Be straightforward and accountable.

How do people run a service centric business this way?

(ADDED/EDITED Oct 4th 2024 The original appointment was booked by phone on September 20th with the technician showing up on Sept 27th at 5:30 pm. Chris the technician told us to apply WD-40 over the weekend, to the washing machine, to see if the drum could be corrected, of which we did. The drum bolt was broken and needed to be replaced, so parts had not been yet been ordered (until I reached someone at the office on October 3rd, as they would not have known our outcome).

I promptly called back on October 1, October 2, and October 3, before getting any sort of a response. The receptionist Emily said that she was “not able to access her voicemails for three days”. I had also sent two prior emails during the period of October 1st and 2nd, without any answer from anyone. Finally, I was able to reach Emily on October 3 and she gave me the appointment date of October 15th. from three to 6:30 PM.

The owner has never reached out to us by telephone or email other than to respond to this review. Also after finding another more suitable option I emailed on October 3rd, and cancelled my appointment on October 15th, 2024, (not October 10th as stated in the reply by the company below) - end of EDIT Oct 4th, 2024).

RF was assigned to our washer warranty repair via the warranty company, and things could not have gone smoother. The initial call was pleasant, and the tech was able to get out quite quickly.

Chris easily diagnosed the issue, explained it all to me, called in for timing on parts, and he was back a week later with the part in hand. Fixed it in 10 minutes flat, and it's working perfectly.

Only bit of feedback would be to get techs to call when they're on their way or to provide a half-hour heads-up.

Our warranty work on our Samsung ice maker was done super efficiently. Our service tech was on time to a minute which was great. He was fast, friendly and did a great job. Inquired about pertinent information about the ice maker and replaced, fixed our issue. They will be recommended for repairs for anyone I know or inquiring . Thank you !
