Friendly people on the phone, but unfortunately they were unable to sell me the main circuit board for my York furnace because I'm a homeowner, not a licensed contractor. My board did not look difficult to replace (had a blown relay that was soldered in place). Lucky for me I was able to find and purchase the part number by searching with my furnace model number on a major HVAC parts supplier on line (had to remove the C at the end of the model number). Circuit boards are typically not returnable but I was confident in my diagnosis and I now have a working furnace. Shame that the YORK troubleshooting guide led me to believe that that my main blower fan was faulty (error code was four red flashes from the circuit board LED). I sent separate power to my main blower to rule this out (on you-tube).

Ordered a motor on a Friday that was in stock in Burnaby for pickup in Langley. They said it would be in Monday evening or Tuesday but to pick it up on Wednesday to be safe. My customer had they’re laboratory down and I needed the motor ASAP.

I went to pickup the motor on Wednesday and they said it hadn’t even been shipped from Burnaby yet because they were “busy” and had “new staff” that were still in training.

I said fine I’ll go pick it up in Burnaby. I was then told the motor needs to be programmed and that nobody in Burnaby knew how because they were all new.

I was forced to drive to Burnaby to pick it up then drive back to Langley to get it programmed
 this is just ridiculous. It seems that the front door should say Carrier and not Masters
 I guess they’re both just as useless
