I went in the Findlay’s so that I could try out Bernina Machines in person, as I was vacationing nearby and don’t have a local Bernina dealer in my hometown.

The staff here are lovely and helpful. They advised that I purchase from a dealer closer to my home, as this will be helpful in learning the machine.

And even though they knew I wouldn’t be purchasing through them, they took the time to demo the machines I was interested in, answer all my questions and give me time to play with the machines.

My experience with Findlay’s wasn’t great. They didn’t treat anyone in my family respectfully, no greeting no nothing. When we brought two machines in for servicing he acted like we were a huge inconvenience. The guy wouldn’t hear our concerns and then would force us to tell him all over again simply because he wasn’t listening. Poor customer service. I’d be inclined to go to Kelowna for my next service. These guys are pretty rude for the only sewing dealer in town. They don’t deserve the good money we spend on our machines.

I got a beautiful new Miele vacuum from Findlays about a week and a half ago and I couldn't be more happy with it. Not only is the vacuum itself excellent and very reasonably priced but Terry and Toni have been a pleasure to deal with! Terry went out of his way to make sure that I got just the right fit for my needs and he has been able to answer any questions I have no problem. I will never buy a vacuum or accessories from anywhere else again!

I would highly recommend Findlay’s Vacuum & Sewing. I had excellent customer service and the staff were very fast and efficient. Just before we moved, my vacuum stopped working so I took it to Findlay’s. I couldn’t believe how fast my vacuum was repaired and at an excellent price.
