The quality of customer service has gone downhill compared to the past few years...
I visited the store again today and was going in circles hoping to find someone to help with locating a tool, after almost 15 minutes I decided to walk to the customer service area and ask for help. The girl at the customer service area did her part and announced it ....I waited there a bit longer, still no help, then she announced again... eventually after waiting long enough someone showed up and first thing they said was " What's the problem?!"...kinda like they were called to do what they are getting paid for, but it was an inconvenience for them since it interrupted their morning gossip with their coworker...I decided to just go to a different store and buy the tool I wanted.
To be honest, the store offers great prices, but the majority of their employees are just "pretending to be busy" and need some better training to interact with customers.

My friends and I meet for coffee almost every day at Princess Auto. Yes most of us are retired. However, we are still active and have projects. 9 out of 10 times we buy something we want for our projects. The last 2 months we have been insulted about drinking coffee and denied the coffee, accused of being free loaders?! The manager is great and most staff are very knowledgeable, super friendly and helpful, but wow. There are 2 females that work there that are acting as though we are taking food out of their mouths?! What happened to customer service and damn if the coffee doesn't bring in customers! I have approached the manager, whom is great with us customers and each time the 2 suspect employees have raced to interfere with the conversation and become a distraction.If the manager doesn't know they cannot adjust the situation. I hope this reaches the manager. Otherwise a great place with good eals and good staff. I just hate petty crap from staff.

Found both things on my wish list and they were also both on sale! Good variety of treasures, never know what you'll find; not your usual 'Department Store'!
Disappointed to see 'Owner's reply' to reviewers is generic NOT genuine and used with (I think) anyone who doesn't give 5 stars?!

Tried to buy three doormats. Website said you had ten in stock. Service desk said they were on a skid in the back and would not be available for a few days due to the Christmas rush. Service desk took my name and contact info, promised to hold three doormats for me. When I came back a few days later they found my info on their computer, found the doormats in question and told me THEY ARE ALL SOLD AND WE WON'T BE GETTING ANY MORE IN. What kind of ridiculous incompetence is this?
