Just to be clear, I find the staff there to be very, very good. They are attentive, informed and always courteous, however this new policy where they won't answer a phone and only do email or voice-mail return calls may be efficient for them but I can assure you it is not for their clientele. Having to wait an extended period just to get a quick answer on a products inventory levels is not a great way to go in my opinion, and I'm fairly certain they will lose customers over this.

Been using Wells on and off for about a year, just because they're the closest place to us and it was convenient when we needed something day of. The service never impressed us, so we werent consistent.

But today we went in and saw that they have signs encouraging people to defy the mask mandate and not requiring them the enter. Unmasked employees didnt even stay 6 ft away from us, even though we clearly took many steps back when they entered out personal bubble. We felt extremely dissapointed and disrespected. We will not be returning and have already contacted Burnaby bylaw. We will make the slightly longer drive to Pinnacle Distributors from now on, since they're service has always been amazing!

I placed an order on April 1st, but as of April 24th, I have not received any shipping notifications. Despite emailing three times and leaving two voicemails, I have not heard back from this company. Frustrated, I have initiated a dispute with my credit card company to be reimbursed. At this stage, I am questioning if this business is even legitimate. Either way, Visa is investigating and hopefully I will either have the product shipped or be fully refunded.

I started canning/ preserving during the pandemic. Wells Can has always been stocked with everything I needed. The selection available at this store is one of the best selections I have come across in my trips to many other local canning suppliers.

The staff here is always knowledgeable, polite and most of all...helpful.

I recently attended this business and noticed some new signage. I feel it is very important for all businesses to have the same approach as Wells Can has had to the "mandating" of vaccines/masks policy. I wear a mask, and that is my choice. Some people choose not to, and that is also OKAY. Thank you for being open minded, and supportive of my freedoms as a Canadian Citizen!

I will go out of my way to come here from now on.

Not a good experience with Wells Can Company. I phoned and got a quote on some bee keeping equipment and was given a quote , I then increased the order amount and was given a better price based on the amount. I placed the order and when I got the invoice (which was after the shipment) it was more than quoted. After a couple phone calls and emails I was told that was the new pricing and I was quoted on last years prices and nothing could be done. They took over from another company that gave very good service , not the same now. They didn't even offer to meet half way . Hope they don't treat all customers like this ? Murray

Very glad I found Wells Can Company. When searching for tins for my product, most of the results were US companies and I didn't want to deal with duties, taxes and border delays. Wells Can Company has just what I was looking for at reasonable prices. When I made a mistake with my order, they were very generous in fixing my error. Terrific customer service!
