We recently had a problem with the pilot light in our gas fireplace. We had dealt with BCRC previously and were always happy with their service. In the beginning of 2025, we learned that natural gas for heating is going to rise by 12.5 %. Our 25 year old furnace was still running strong but appears to be running in short cycles, running on and off shortly and frequently during cold nights.
We started looking into heat pumps and the available Fortis rebates.
We received estimates from four companies. The prices on the same Bosch system vary quite a bit, one super high, one moderate high, two matching in the lower range(BCRC is one).
At the time, the US tariff threat was on high intensity and we were concerned that the rebate may be cut off or reduced after we committed to the contract.
Some weeks had passed, Tony from BCRC phoned to follow up if we had any questions and we explained why it was difficult for us to decide. Tony answered some technical questions but didn't give any pressure to sign the contract.
A week later, we decided to proceed with the heat pump as the world political and economic situations were just getting worse and we knew our existing 25 year's old furnace and AC would not last forever.
The decision to choose BCRC was influenced by many very positive Google reviews. We don't know any personal friends that have used them
The installation day came, the first truck arrived around 8:30 am, and a guy who looked like Tony with a second guy named Amar started working. Shortly after, a second truck arrived. Adam, the senior technician, discussed the work plan and a revised outdoor unit location, we were convinced of it.
Then, a third truck arrived, two young technicians started and completed the electrical work efficiently and left.
In the early afternoon, I saw Tony coming upstairs, looking for me regarding the thermostat. He asked if I remembered him, the guy came for the original estimate. I said yes and said he was here all morning!
He broke out in a laugh and explained that the guy that looks like him is his brother Ray.
I refused to believe him and went downstairs to check out Ray. I came back telling Tony that Ray is more handsome than him.
All crew members were very courteous and polite.
When Tony took me to check out the completed installation, the crew was cleaning up and stopped their work to allow us to walk by safely. They also did an excellent clean up job.
We would recommend BCRC to any family, friends or strangers, that BCRC is a trustworthy company and Tony is a handsome and capable leader.
Tony also completed the rebate application for us quickly.

- 客服：响应速度很快。接电话快，回复邮件也快。如果没有回复，打电话催一下就会有反馈。负责人Tony非常亲切、友好和耐心。
- 价格：在5家报价中相比价格非常有竞争力
- 方案：他们来quote的时候和我们聊了有50分钟，非常耐心回答各种问题，比较看哪种方案最适合我家。经过和其他几家HVAC供应商对比，他们的方案最合适，选择也很丰富。

我的方案参考：Fujitsu Heat pump + Rinnai tankless water heater 富士这款冷暖空调（热泵）很好用，冬天-20度也能用。tankless热水器用来洗很长时间的澡特别幸福。

其他值得提的点：他们的管道装得很整齐漂亮，tankless热水器下面的管道和空调室外机的管道都很整齐。图片中可以看出。后来机器出了一点小问题，打电话也很快就过来修了。

为什么给四星：安装过程中出了一点意外，heat pump到室外的管子需要在外墙打洞，但是他们忘记检查stud位置，打洞穿过了stud，本来这是可以避免的事情。但不得不说他们处理问题很迅速，态度也非常好，积极地配合修复问题。为什么不给五星是因为确实出现过意外，但我不认为四星会降低推荐的力度，实事求是比一味五星更重要。

Our boiler just broke down a couple of weeks ago when it was really cold! We had BCRC Heating And Cooling came by and they recommended to replace our boiler system since it was to old and it was giving us service issues every time. BCRC showed up the next day, they replaced our 38 years old boiler with a new Combi boiler system for radiant floor heat and hot water usage. We are so very happy with the service they offer and we also appreciate Tony, Ray and Arkin to do such a hard work and giving us the heat and hot water back the same day! We can't describe enough about how professional and efficient the team was and after all done they did clean up the working area which made us to give them a good feedback. Highly recommended BCRC for anyone who need heating and cooling services! Great job Tony, Ray and Arkin
