Relaxing with a beautiful ocean view. Sit inside or outside on the patio. The service is pleasant with menu fair pricing. Typical pub style food. Kids welcome during lunch service. Lots of menu choices. The fish n chips look delicious 😋

Been here 2 times and the food has always been great! They have my favourite fries. They can work with diet restrictions (my parents) and have a great view of the water. Love the $10 burger deal BUT… 2 stars off for customer service. 1 server was amazing while the other was completely unfriendly. I don’t usually write bad reviews but service really impacts an experience.

My sister & I had the $10.00 burger & shared a side of fries. The burger was great! Brioche bun, fresh lettuce, tomato & red onion & the cheese was perfectly melted. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the marina, perfection. Good service, nice atmosphere & views & good pub style food.

We went for wing night and were able to bring a couple of kids, which was greatly appreciated. They allow minors from Sun to Wed. The wings were large and very flavourful! I few more flavours to choose from would have been nice. Service was ok. The orders or flavours got mixed up between a couple of people, and one of the people we were with waited 45 mins for a refill of their coffee. Otherwise service was good, staff were very friendly. We'll be going back.

I've been to the Cowichan Bay pub dozens of times and I've never had a bad meal, or bad service. It's not a fancy place. It's friendly and completely unpretentious. My "go to" meal is a $10 Burger with onion rings and apple pie for dessert! The apple pie is an individual galette serves hot from the oven with ice cream and caramel sauce 💀.

Great location... probably excels in the summer time on their outdoor port side patio. The layout of the restaurant is very open concept and design wise isn't particularly inspiring... but it has a warmth to it. Friendly and helpful staff too. Free pool is a bonus although the tables are not in serious pool shape but great for casual play.

I had the crab cakes to start. Great presentation and good texture and taste. For the $20 price I would have preferred 4 instead of 3.

My main course was the Korean stir fry called the Bibimbap. It was well presented and well cooked. The vegetables had proper texture, however I would have preferred a little more beef. There was a slight sweetness to the dish which was just right and enjoyable, as often times you can go too sweet on these types of dishes. Came back another day... had the peppercorn burger. Love the overt peppercorn flavor of the patty... fries were amazing.... cooked right with texture.

Overall my experience was great and I'd visit again.

The place is nice, but the food was plated so poorly. It was messy and hard to eat. I got the beef Yorkie plate. I just don't understand why the cook plated it the way they did. It was a mess. Gravy everywhere, salad was like a bomb. Grabbed one fork full and half the bowl pulled out onto the plate into the gravy swamp..... Gross. Plus the service was really slow while there was very few people here.
Overall disappointing. I drove past this place the other day and thought "heck yeah" but it's more like a heck no. Not coming back. By the way, bill came to 48 dollars with two drinks and that meal.
