My uncle works here , I gotta be real the only thing that makes this place work is the fact it’s held together by decent enough welders the staff is difficult and hard to reason with , doing bussiness with sws in Westlock was hard I wanted to buy a new trailer for my truck with my dad and they wound up selling us nothing as my father was very upset by the staffs attitude towards him and the customer support available , other than that it’s cool

Repeat customer - I have nothing but good to say about this business. I have always found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are the best around, no shopping needed; worth the drive from the city. (Honestly, it's the same as driving through the city to Leduc or similar) Staff have always been up front about what the price includes, and clear on deposits and payment formats accepted. I believe some customers have issues with that, but each business does things the way that works best for them; I can respect that. The company has been around a long time, and are a great asset to their town's economy. You see their product on the roads, and know they are built to last.

Welds are probably to legal specs but honestly, could have complete beads instead of partial so salt/rust isn’t perfectly invited into gaps. One trip down a gravel road and paint is completely sand blasted off. If you like paint that can easily be pressure washed off then these are the trailers to buy. I hate to write a bad review about a company but, I wanted to buy from a locally made outfit, I expected to at least be able to make through one winter without my trailer looking like it’s 20 years old, especially being Canadian built. A friend that does the same amount of kms as me bought a Precision Trailer and his welds are way better, paint still looks new aside from spots that were chipped from chains and even those are very few. I’ll take my money elsewhere next set of trailers.

I purchased a 36" foot gooseneck triple axle trailer from Dustin at SWS. Dustin got back to me promptly with a great price on the trailer. I have been using the trailer for a year and am so happy with the quality, it pulls great. I highly recommend SWS Truck Bodies & Trailers!

I would HIGHLY recommend you avoid this company at all cost. I was in to speak with Dustin Snider 6+ weeks ago and he promised a quote within a day or two tops. I emailed a week later and repeated another email within a week again and finally called Dustin. He apologized and promised it would be to me within a day. Well 6 weeks later still no quote. May be their busy but if this is their customer service I'm glad I resorted to looking elsewhere.
Follow up - another 6 weeks have passed and still won’t return my calls or emails. Utterly unacceptable !!!
Follow up - ok it’s now an additional 8 weeks and these bozos have never called back ... now it’s kinda funny as I have a REAL vendor working with me to get my deck built.

Purchasing all 4 of my trailers was easy. Sales staff were helpful with a quick delivery. But the overall afterwards service and warranty work while honoured, was met with a rude, pushy approach. I had a door on a cargo trailer just fall off on the highway and while sws gave me a warranty phone number to the manufacturer, that was where the help stopped. I arranged everything myself and when the door came in, I was called to come get it. When asked about them installing it, its was as though they couldn't be bothered and the guy was really rude. "We get the stuff in, but were not in the business of putting it on for free" was the snarky response I got. I never even asked about price. I would have paid gladly but was met with a real jerk attitude which was just awful. I buy and turnover about 4 trailers every 4-6 years. I won't be coming back for so much as a lockset or lightbulb after picking up my door this Thursday.

Rude salesman, basically hung up on me when i asked why they did not include rear drop jacks for loading equipment on their "HD Dump trailers" Have heard good things about the brand but maybe time to hire some new staff to boost sales...

I looked into SWS when I needed a deck built on my truck. let's just say I didn't get what I paid 14K for! I've been welding the deck back together ever since I bought it. The paint was extremely poor after I showed it to another shop for repair. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't go here.
