Went in to ask a simple question on if they do zipper replacements on pants (just was curious) I asked the man at the counter and he just said I don’t know and stared at me. I asked him if there was anyone else who worked there that knew the answer and he laughed at me and asked “why would you think that we do that here?” I said because your a sewing place? Ended up walking out he was so rude. Kinda blew my mind.

Beware. My mother brought her machine in to fix after breaking a needle. Received a call a few days later saying it was unrepairable & couldn’t get parts. He charged her $50 but was willing to waive the fee upon surrender of machine for parts. I took it for a second opinion elsewhere, to which the man opened it in front of me, removed lint in the teeth and said it was just fine! Unfortunately the alignment was now out from the first “repair attempt”. If you value your machine, I recommend you steer clear!

Of all of the sewing centres that I have been into, and I have had the pleasure of doing business with this business is run smoothly with people who care about the customer and about their needs. The prices are not over the top and our fair, and this is coming from someone who likes a very good bargain. All of the staff at this location are amazing and they truly care about their craft, and ours! Their selection of machines is absolutely fantastic and their prices are amazing. And if they are unable to provide you with the machine or item that you need at the time, they are able to order it in a timely fashion. Keep up the great work!

The customer service and wealth of knowledge the owners have is outstanding. Their machines are very high quality and prices are very reasonable. I appreciate their classes too as I am still a beginner. Do not hesitate to visit as they will not disappoint!

I ordered this sewing chair on castors with storage - and I jut love it. I was not able to find this one in BC although there were similar ones, but they were more money. The service was prompt and shipping took less than a week. Putting it together was easy, even for me, a senior, but I was unsure in the last step (apparently I had "older instructions") but I called the store and got a very cheerful staff to help out. I am very satisfied with both the product and the service.

Took my sewing machine in to be cleaned as I hadn't been cleaned for awhile. When I received it back the needle wouldn't line up with the bobin so I brought it back. I paid for it to be calibrated. My machine worked when I got it cleaned therefore it should have worked after. Still doesn't line up. I won't be going to him again. To top it off he was rather rude. 1 star. This was 1 1/2 years ago. I decided I should say something.

I brought my singer 237 into this shop for service. The guy behind the counter was condescending and spoke to me like I was dumb. When I set me machine on the counter he said "wow is this machine 100 years old?". He clearly didn't know anything about my machine. When I asked questions he said I would have to pay him and joked that he was keeping a tab of the fees he wanted to charge me. I did not trust this guy with my machine and took my business elsewhere.

I took my machine in for a service and the turnaround was well within 2 weeks. Had my newborn with me when I picked it up and the staff were so helpfull and immediately offered to carry my machine to my car for me. Always a busy place but you never have to wait long for someone to assist you.
