We were looking everywhere in Canmore for a dessert that didn't have extreme sugar for our kids. It was a hot day, and there are ice cream shops everywhere, but we had so much sugar already this vacation we just wanted something slightly less guilty as parents. 😅

Enter The Granola Bar! We went in on a whim, but were so glad we did. Tons of free samples, including granola (duh), chocolate, and a delicious mango probiotic drink. The lady working there was SO kind, and really believed in their mission of providing delicious, real food at an affordable price. She even let us put a pin in their map of where their customers are from!

Theeeeen she showed us the frozen treats. OMG. Talk about guilt-free, frozen, delicious treats - I would have gone back every day if we had more days in Canmore. Frozen bananas, dipped in dark chocolate. Frozen berries on a stick, dipped in dark chocolate. And then (enter euphoric music) popsicles made out of the same mango probiotic drink that we loved!! Super affordable, and the kids gobbled every. Last. Bit.

If you're debating, just pop in and you'll be happy you did ❤️❤️

Absolutely ahhhhmazing product! This is the only granola I eat anymore. Great on plain yogurt with fruit or throw it in an empty apple juice bottle with your other fav things like dried cherries, whole almonds and unsweetened coconut flakes and you have the ultimate trail snack that keeps you powered up! And it fits great in bottle holders on your pack. Not to mention, Randy the owner is a fantastic human! 5 stars all day long!

We stopped in here on our way back to our AirBNB. The owner is very friendly and gave us a number of samples to try. The chocolate is to die for and the granola bars are incredible. Lots of selection to satisfy your chocolate cravings!

The Granola Bar makes the best soft granola and granola bars. Randy and the team are a local treasure! If you haven’t tried it yet, visiting them in Canmore is a must!

The Granola Bar has excellent Granola. It’s all homemade and locally sourced ingredients. I highly recommend giving it a shot. Great way to boost your energy and eat well.

The best locally sourced, high quality foods! We bought the hand-crafted Belgian chocolate from The Granola Bar and couldn’t believe how decadent it was. The owner, Randy, was so sweet. What a great local store!

Insane delicious granola!! I usually only like granola with milk, but this stuff you can just eat with nothing and it's not dry at all but super soft. Tastes really natural, the honey and cinnamon in it is just so good 😍
