My company uses the TCG Machines PhyzBatch-9000 and it is a tremendous help. It replaced another card sorting machine and is multiple times faster than the machine it replaced. Plus, the machine keeps getting better through software updates and even a couple hardware updates. It has been a pleasure working with TCG Machines and I would recommend their machine to any store moving a moderate amount of singles.

TL:DR We had some troubles during the Beta phase, but the Phyzbatch 9000 is now an essential part of our workflow.

We knew from our initial order we were part of the Beta test, but were willing to take the chance to improve our sorting processes and deal with a few million cards in bulk stack. The early days of using the machine were rough - it often jammed. Adjusting the gate to only let exactly 1 card through was burdensome.

But the team at TCGMachines was great. Each time we hit a stumbling block, they stopped the billing, sent us some new parts, and worked with us to get the machine up & going again.

Then they designed a new gate for adjusting how the cards enter the scanner for processing. Since we installed the new gate, performance has been simply amazing. The only limitation on the machine is our ability to process cards into & out of the machine for sorting.

The only thing we would like to see is the ability to toggle pricing from TCG Market to TCG Low - we base our buys on Low. But this is something they are working on, and I have no doubt it will be integrated in the future.

TCG Machines really is an outstanding company. They have an amazing product that has really helped with the operation of our business.

The machine is useful for a lot of different things. The function that we found particularly handy is its pricing function. We had backlogged over 1 million bulk Magic card. We ran every one of those cards through the machine and the machine easily sorted out all of the valuable cards from the bulk. This was done much more efficiently then any human could have done.

Also the owner, Graeme, is a true visionary! With his blood, sweat and tears he developed this amazing machine that helps maximize card sorting.

10/10 would recommend TCG machines!

I previously owned a TCG machine, which had potential but broke quite a bit. The machine was cheaply made—a lot of 3D-printed parts. But the machine was not the main reason for the 1 star; it was the horrible customer service. I felt like they could have cared more. It felt like I was a bother. Customer service makes a company thrive, and they do not have it. I ended up returning the machine. I would rather hand-sort my cards than deal with them.

I have had the pleasure of working with Graeme and his team from early beta testing right through to the current model and I have nothing but good things to say. I’ve personally run over 2 million cards through and can honestly say there is no way that could have been economically done by a human. Highly recommended!

I have been using a beta model of the PhyzBatch-9000 for over a year now and love all the new features that have been added like foil detection, and the ability to create highly customized bulk boxes. First machine shipments are less than a month away, and I cannot wait to get my hands on mine!
