I don’t shop here often I usually go to the 8th street location but since I was in the area I decided to go here, and right when I walked into my first aisle I was being followed by security. I collected the items I needed and still noticed he wouldn’t leave me alone although I have done nothing wrong it was due to my skin colour. It’s flat out racism I left without paying because he followed me to the registers and there were long ass lines so I decided to leave and wasn’t going to put up with it anymore so I showed that I put all my items down on a shelf and I walked away, now I haven’t had this problem in a while and it hurt I got into my car and started crying my eyes out, because of the disrespect and the racism. The store was full of people and I stopped shopping there due to seeing theft and not wanting anything to do with it, so I wonder why I was singled out minding my own business not doing anything and having no reason of being a suspect of shoplifting, because your security guard working on November 3rd around 7pm only sees my race and assumes I’m going to steal. The company itself is good but not this location, the racism is too much and I do not want to shop somewhere that I was being followed.

It's crazy to me to have 12 available tills, but only 3 are open, and not being allowed through the self check out is brutal. There is about 20 people with full carts waiting for the same till to open.

Figure it out guys, when it busy, open another till. A manager should be stepping in and helping.....

Buyer Beware on Apple products. Since Superstore (possibly shoppers too) adds an ‘electronic recycling fee’ to your receipt. Apple might think Super store sells used Apple products. I had a difficult time trying to update my Purchase Date and to get AppleCare. Took a long conversation for them to confirm that mine were not used AirPods

Huge selection of just about anything you could possibly want makes this store convenient and popular. The constant short staffed registers is unfathomably inconvenient, as you can hear all the customers conveying to each other, in line. It doesn't matter the time of day, this HUGE store is consistently short staffed. Unless you're needing something store specific, I recommend going ANYWHERE else, unless you have nothing but time on your hands to stand in endless lines. Yes, 8am standing in line, 8pm standing in line... IT DOES NOT MATTER THE TIME OF DAY!

Not really wheelchair accessible the disabled parking spots are too narrow for a wheelchair, there is too few spots as well. The carts are also 50 feet away adding 100 feet to the distance required to walk. It is a violation of rights. Management also offloads the responsibility of compliance on the city and loblaws. A human rights case would need to be followed through on to get anywhere with these people.

I’ve been shopping at this location since my mom took me as a boy, so nearly 40 years.

Recently a number of customer service snafus and safety issues have finally pushed me to the ineffectual act of an online review; I suspect for merely cathartic purposes.

First complaint: I tried the Express pickup three times due to a points offer, but each time my order was incorrect (I made sure to select no substitutions)… items were way off; for example, Hummus instead of milk. They did fix the mistakes, but the staff were less than cordial about it. As a side note, it’s not really an express service if I need to wait up to 15 minutes to receive my order, check my order, return inside to fix said order, and return to my car. It’s quicker to do my own shopping.

Second complaint: The cashier said she scanned my optimum card during a recent transaction, but actually did not. I was redirected to customer service than to the PC financial kiosk than to the toll free number which proved unhelpful. Finally I called the location where a staff member offered a work around to retrieve the points I was denied. While I appreciate the fix, I’m sure I’m not the only customer that doesn’t appreciate being treated like a human hot potato.

Third and final complaint: The corporate decision to allow certain elements in the community to turn this location into a veritable cesspool of unchecked criminality is clearly putting undue stress on your employees and creating a less than stellar shopping experience for the paying customers in the store. I would think that the material and human expenses would be less severe if security was enhanced in and out of the store in a meaningful way.

I don't even feel safe in the parking lot, let alone the store. There is too much rift raft and it's very common seeing someone committing a crime (theft)
