This would be a ZERO star if I could!!!! Drove 5 hours round trip with my chickens. Twice!!!! I gave very specific instructions on how I wanted my birds processed and they clearly did not follow instructions in that massive language barrier. It was to be 50 whole and the rest cut up into 9 pieces. I was to pick them up the next day and they were to be frozen seeing I did not have time to wait nor come back that same day. I paid to get the weights on and identification on the bags as to what is in each bag and how many. (For example: 4 chicken thighs, 1.2 kgs) Some bags have what looks like 2 thighs, some look like there is 5 in there. What I got was the farthest away from professional processing as it could get. I was furious! I picked up my birds the next day frozen, frozen clump of meat at the bottom of the bags, the bags had barely a piece of electrical tape to close the bags, ZERO identification as to what was in this frozen clump of meat, they did put the kgs on it although it’s totally useless seeing as the weights are all off, I was told to just write it myself with a marker. With the worse language barrier of life, she kept saying that it’s the “machines fault” for not working properly. That however is not my fault, they should have taken the permanent marker and marked some sort of identification on the bags seeing as I did pay for that service and asked to make sure it was going to be done properly. They DID however permanent marker the price to be hidden because I clearly was not paying for them to put a price at 13.50/lb on my damn bags. So they did mark that up to hide it but could not take that same marker to write what was in the bags? Makes ZERO sense!!! Will NEVER return! I was told to just do it when I bring them home! Very unprofessional, very disappointed and very pissed off at this mess they made. But not to worry she said, she can re-bag them? Like no you can not seeing as they are frozen clumps of meat? She said you can thaw and refreeze?!?! What? No you can’t!!! After a lot of back and forth she then offered me a 25$ gift card at the new store they are putting up in Northbay that’s not open yet! No way I will support them and give them another dime of my own hard earned money. Beyond frustrating, we work hard to raise great quality meat for the end result of the presentation for customers to be completely butchered, literally! Oh and I went with 10 chicken crates and also one large kennel, I asked where my chicken crates where and was told they are theirs?!?! Hell no! They said I had rented them from them and I told them there’s zero way I am leaving without MY chicken crates. I had to tell her again that I’ve never been here and that I’m clearly never coming back so no I did not rent their chicken crates! She pointed to where the crates get stored at to go grab mine from there. Very unprofessional and very highly NOT recommended! Good luck if you book here , hope you ain’t the slightest bit fussy about how your birds come back, hope you enjoy playing mind games, and hopefully you can speak their language because English nor French will work there!

Would give zero stars if I could. Drove two hours to drop off birds this morning.
Turns out only one is guy is there doing the processing.
Seems like a lot of birds for one person to process.
Get a call 12 hours later to let me know the inspector didn’t show up today, so I need to pick up my birds. Still alive.
Told it’s rescheduled for a month later with a 20% discount.
Cool.
DO NOT BRING YOUR BIRDS HERE!

Would give zero star if i could. Booked my date beginning of season And showed up on my date after a 4.5 round trip. Was called 12 hours later to pick up live birds because he couldnt finish them.

When I showed up in the morning there where towers of bird and cages stacked outside to find out only one person was working. Excuse he gave was the inspector showed up late.. but it sure looked way over booked. Very unprofessional service. Will absolutely not make the trip again.

With the amount of random birds these things where around theres no way they should be sending birds home for biosecurity reasons! Now here i am putting my whole farm at risk.

I'm livid. Was offered an insulting discount and a date a month later. So so much money down the drain. His discount does even touch the $20 in feed a day over the next month, my 20 hours of driving(if i took the sevond date and it would be 40hours if i wasnt splitting with a friend the pick up and drop off) or the two days off work to get them there and pick them up.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I usually process all my own birds over 125 last year. I was looking for a break this year and this plant absolutely tanked this experience for me. I run a business so i dont make reviews lightly! Waking up next day feeling even angrier then yesterday.

After a little back and forth the butcher came through with what I ordered. I had to make a few extra trips but all worked out.

Cut my turkeys up messed up the butchering order and now my turkeys won't fit in my freezer and they said talk to us later. Zero stars if I could go that low
